Description: Manufactured in the former Soviet Union, the Sputnik Reflex Stereo Camera produces stereographic images in a film format still used today. Like a traditional reflex camera, photographers would peer through the ground-glass viewfinder at the top of the camera to compose their image. The construction of the camera is simple, but the resulting negatives are high quality, medium format results. An example of transparencies and a print made from this camera can be found nearby; look for the square images.
